Captain Lou Albano was born in July 29, 1933 and he had been introduced into wrestling in 1953. He was best known for his beard and wearing rubber bands on his face. He won the WWF United States Tag Team Championship Titles. From there he went on to do announcing and promos. He was known as the world's most villainous manager. His wrestling career ended in 1995. In the 1980's he appeared in a few music videos.

He has been imitated over time but never duplicated. And never forgotten in the wrestling industry. He died on October 14, 2009 after being sent home from the hospital. He is survived by his wife, four children and 14 grandchildren. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family during this time
